LAPSSET PROJECTS INAUGURAL GLOBAL INVESTMENT CONFERENCE SET FOR OCTOBER IN NAIROBI

The Kenya & East Africa Management Services Company (KEAMSCO), working in partnership with the Kenya National Chamber of Commerce & Industry (KNCCI) will be hosting the inaugural LAPSSET Global Investment Conference in Nairobi on October 26th to 29 2015.

The theme of the conference is Building Africa’s transformative & game-changer Infrastructure towards delivering a Just & Prosperous Kenya.

The LAPSSET Program is by far Africa’s most ambitious integrated infrastructure Project at an investment value of US$26 billion, and brings together the 5 East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, Ethiopia, Rwanda & South Sudan.

Construction of the first 3 Lamu Port berths is already underway, as well as a number of other ancillary infrastructure developments by Kenya under the Vision 2030 Flagship Projects.

This Summit therefore provides an excellent opportunity for Kenya & the region to market it’s infrastructure credentials to a diverse group of over 200 global participants, for investors to learn more about the lucrative investment opportunities in Africa’s most audacious infrastructure program, interact with key decision-makers driving the process, and through the exhibition, show-case the diverse firms products, services & capabilities to deliver on projects of this size and nature.
